I think that in our hearts we all know that, but it never hurts to be reminded of it every now and then. There wasn't anything in particular that sparked this thought in my mind, but just looking around at all He has created, all the ways He has worked, and all the blessings He has given me, I can't help but praise Him. Not just for what He has done in my life, but also in the lives of people all over the world.
For how He answers prayers that are said with simple, childlike faith.
For how He works in the lives and communities of African villages (this post...it leaves me amazed).
For allowing hard things to happen in order to draw us closer to Himself.
For the simple little things in life, like the joyful laughs of children as they play.
For the way He brings peace in the midst of unrest.
>> How has God left YOU amazed today? <<
(Okay...I'll admit that I haven't been behind my camera much lately. I had to do a little bit of digging around in some dusty photo archives to come up with something to add a bit of color to this post!)

This is so true, Rebecca! :) We are so blessed. So, so blessed. And God is so, amazingly, mind-boggling-ly awesome. Thank you for sharing! And your pictures, though old, are lovely. :)
ReplyDelete{Also, I was looking at your photography page, and I saw you did pretty much what I did concerning cameras! :) I bought a little point-and-shoot last year...my first camera--and I did learn to manipulate every setting to get what I wanted. And a few weeks ago I was blessed to able to buy a Nikon D3100! :) Just thought that was rather interesting that we did practically the same thing. Your photos are beautiful!}
Many blessings!
xo,
Mikailah~
Thank you Mikailah for your sweet comment! That's neat that our camera stories are similar :) I'll have to say that the "challenge" of working with a point-and-shoot helped to prepare me for working with a DSLR! I hope that you have a lot of fun with your new camera and have many happy hours capturing the beauty of life that the Lord has blessed you with!
